Description:	This course introduces the field of communication sciences and disorders. It will include information about the professions and practice settings therein. Students will also learn about the educational and licensure requirements for these professions. This course affords students an understanding of the basic social and behavioral science concepts and principles used in the analysis of behavior and past and present social, political, and economic issues.
