Evanovich's research interests include multi-tiered systems of support for behavior with a focus on positive behavior interventions and supports. Specifically, she is interested in academic and behavioral interventions for students with and at-risk for emotional and behavioral disorders and to reduce the use of exclusionary discipline practices, including restraint and seclusion). She also studies the the use and integration of relationship based practices within a PBIS framework and evidence-based interventions for students with behavioral disorders.
