Benefits Annual Open Enrollment Period Ending Soon!

This year’s Benefits Annual Open Enrollment Period ends at 6 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 4th. This is the last week for benefits eligible employees to make changes to existing coverage, enroll in new coverage or end coverage for the 2017 plan year.

For more information, please visit the Open Enrollment Website.

NEW…Just Announced by the IRS!

The Internal Revenue Service just announced a $50 increase for the 2017 plan year annual contribution limit for healthcare and limited purpose flexible spending accounts. Use flexible spending accounts for eligible healthcare expenses, including certain dental and vision services, and for qualified child and elder care.

The People First system is now updated, and you may make online changes during open enrollment (ends Nov. 4) or call People First during the correction period (ends Nov. 18) to increase your annual flexible spending account election to $2,600, if desired.

TAMPA Campus – Personal Assistance Help Sessions

The Division of Human Resources is offering personal assistance for those employees who may need help navigating the People First website to make their open enrollment elections and changes. You will need to bring your People First ID number, your password for the website and the social security number and date of birth for any dependents you may need to add to your coverage.

Address Verification Process

Employees will have to verify their home and mailing address in the People First system before they are able to complete Open Enrollment changes. This will ensure the employee will receive their confirmation statement for any Open Enrollment changes that have been made. A prompt will pop up to start the address verification process within the People First system once the employee is logged in.
