Christopher Alexander
Assistant professor of civil and environmental engineering
Engineering
Alexander's research focuses on corrosion, infrastructure durability
and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy. His work is designed to identify the driving forces of degradation processes including chloride ion ingress, carbonation, water permeation and corrosion in civil infrastructure and predict damage from those forces to inform design and inspection protocols.
