Bush teaches interdisciplinary courses on topics like systems thinking, complexity science and the use of science fiction to understand societal issues. He is an expert in urban systems, complex systems, community resilience, and adaptation.

Dulaney studies the history and design of workforce housing in the U.S, design and representation through drawing and photography and design pedagogies and methodologies. He was an architect with Bohlin Cywinski Jackson in Pittsburgh, Smith Dalia Architects in Atlanta, Ray Huff Architects in Charleston, S.C., and other firms. His work has appeared in regional, national and international juried venues.
