Sargolzaei is director of USF's Resilient, Autonomous, Networked Control Systems (RANCS) research group. He is an expert in autonomous vehicles, connected vehicles, safety and security of networked control systems, unmanned aerial vehicles and testing and verification of autonomous systems.

Yucelen is director of the USF Laboratory for Autonomy, Control, Information and Systems and director of the Forum on Robotics and Control Engineering. His research focuses on autonomous vehicles and robotics.
