Dunleavy's research focuses on CAD modeling of microwave and millimeter- devices; development of new microwave/millimeter-wave experimental techniques for evaluation, modeling and design verification of devices, circuits and wireless sub-systems; design and evaluation of novel monolithic microwave/millimeter-wave integrated circuits (MMICs); and MMIC based sub-systems. This research led to the spinout company -- Modelithics, Inc. -- focused on commercial development and distribution of microwave and millimiter-wave device models.

Bhanja's research focuses on nanocomputing, emerging computing frameworks, nature and physics-inspired computing, and security and authentication of Emerging Systems.
