Ruva's research interests include psychology and law, with a focus on applying principles of memory, social perception and group decision-making to the area of jury decision-making.

Rohrer's research focuses on memory -- research concerns memory, including memory retrieval in both healthy people and various patient populations. His current line of research examines and assesses various learning strategies with the aim of identifying pedagogical techniques that improve students’ long-term retention of information learned in school, including math topics.
