Alexandra Brandimore

Brandimore's research focuses on evaluative techniques and therapeutic paradigms to improve upper airway dysfunction -- primarily dysphagia (disordered swallowing) and dystussia (disordered cough), in persons with neurodegenerative diseases such as Parkinson’s disease. Her clinical work focuses on movement disorders where she has evaluated and treated the motor speech, voice, AAC and airway protective needs.

Jeannie B. Stephenson

Stephenson's research focuses on quantitative analysis of gait and balance in individuals with neurodegenerative movement disorders, particularly Cerebellar Ataxia, Multiple Sclerosis and Normal Pressure Hydrocephalus.

Hauser is director of the USF Parkinson’s Disease and Movement Disorders Center and an expert in Parkinson’s Disease, neurology and movement disorders. His recent study surveyed hundreds of Parkinson's patients and found that the tremors associated with the disease are more difficult to control than previously believed.
