Wells is an environmental anthropologist with an interdisciplinary background in the social and natural sciences. His research emphasizes environmental pollution, brownfields challenges, land use legacies, sustainable and equitable development, water/wastewater management and science-policy interactions.

Sommer's research focuses on how institutional factors and internal governance constraints impact environment and development outcomes. She can discuss environmental citizenship and how the activities of multinational corporations, international non-governmental organizations, international treaties, and other nations, interact with internal state factors to impact various outcomes.

Yang teaches international finance and financial modeling, focusing on financial theories and concepts. She studies corporate governance and social responsibility.
