Miller's research focuses on physical activity, school-based intervention and nutrition related behavior. He has conducted school-based intervention studies in which elementary school students wore pedometers every day at school and at home to evaluate intervention components (peer competition, goal setting, public posting, feedback) for their effect on overall activity levels.

Raechel White
Assistant professor, Department of Pharmacotherapeutics and Clinical Research
Pharmacy
White is a PharmD whose research focus includes heart health in cancer survivors, including the use of cholesterol medications and GLP-1 medications such as Ozempic and Mounjaro. She is part of a team studying the novel use of continuous glucose monitoring for people with pre-diabetes and for scuba divers with diabetes. Other ongoing research includes the use of GLP-1s in people with psychiatric conditions like schizophrenia and binge eating disorders.
