Hao is an environmental sociologist who can discuss public opinion and environmental behavior, renewable energy, electric vehicle adoption trends, the economic impacts of carbon emissions and social trust as it relates to climate and environmental topics.

Das' current research is focused on design and policy issues for smart electricity grids supporting green generation, electric vehicles and smart consumers in smart and connected communities; and developing strategies for impact mitigation of large-scale influenza pandemic outbreaks. He can discuss system performance optimization, carbon emissions control for electronic power networks, smart grid and microgrid modeling and design, influenza pandemic outbreak mitigation; and breast cancer survivor detection and intervention strategies.
