Mohapatra is a cancer researcher whose lab is focused on understanding tumor growth, drug resistance and recurrence. Marshall's research interests include adherence, self-symptom management and integrating technology to support the self-management of oral oncolytic therapies. She has developed technologies to support the self-management of oral oncolytic therapies among older adults and is interested in how cancer patients' beliefs and perceptions of their health care are formed and changed over the course of their treatment in order to improve their decision-making ability as they approach end of life.
