Bhattacherjee is a professor in the School of Information Systems and the Exide Professor of Business Ethics. His research focuses on a broad range of information systems topics related to healthcare informatics, algorithm biases, social media and organizational innovations. He teaches classes on statistical data modeling, text analytics, and research methods.

Andrews' research focuses on topics in health information behaviors and communication, standards and controlled terminologies and various topics in library and information science. He has been an investigator on several federally-funded grants (NIH, DoD, AHRQ, CDC), and he is co-editor of the first book on Clinical Research Informatics.

Kirby's research interests are broadly in maternal and child health, with specific on population-based research in birth defects and developmental disabilities, epidemiology and prevention, as well as on risk factors for adverse pregnancy outcomes. He is also interested in population health informatics, data integration and geospatial analysis.

Walczak's primary research interests are in applied artificial intelligence systems (including artificial neural networks, expert and knowledge-based systems, cognitive modeling, machine learning and intelligent software agents), healthcare information systems, knowledge management and organizational learning and electronic commerce specializing in online auctions and virtual presence.
